On expecting a delivery on my address on the 22th December 2016 ,I was very concerned not to miss it...So I waited and waited all through the morning and jet not sign of it. Could not wait any longer and had to go out to find out that the delivery person left a notice through the letter box saying that a signature was required. This person never rang my door bell which was clearly visible and in a perfect working order...I could not get my head around why this gentleman never rang my door bell whilst I was still in the building when he delivered my parcel. This is completely appalling and unacceptable from a so called premier service by Royal Mail. This is not the first time that this happened to me and I hope Royal Mail could prevent this by training and instructing the delivery staff appropriately.

Once again a redelivery has not arrived on the designated redelivery day. Another day of staying home all day waiting!!!!
Last time this happened I was sent to Carlton to collect the parcel, only too discover they did not have it either and they couldn't understand why I had been sent there!!!! This is not good enough!!!

I am so impressed with Royal Mail in Nottingham, our postman actually waited for us to answer the door, plus my parcel was delivered at 7.30am on a Monday just before I went to work, not in the afternoon so then I would have to take a car journey at the weekend to fetch my parcel from the depo.EXCELLENT!!!!

Wow! I am so impressed with Royal Mail in Nottingham, our delivery guy actually waited for me to answer the door and he arrived on a Monday at 7.20am. Excellent!!!

Just an update service still terrible. I had to resort to getting them to hold post at the sorting office as refused to deliver my post to the right address des[ite polite clear notices on my gate it always went next door or just missing completely. Still happening since sep 2015 I have lost 4 seperate parcels from sperate supplies - it seems there is still a problem with theives in the royal mail system. I am about to check again but looks like another has been taken. I will be putting in a complaint as this is getting way beyond a joke now

Why has it just taken a clearly addressed letter from DE45, postmarked Nottingham, with a first class stamp, on September 28th, 15 days to reach a DN9 postcode?

I received my documents back from HMRC recorded delivery which on delivery had to be signed for.
When I received the documents they had been posted through my letter box so I had not signed for it and also the enveloped was fully opened.
I'm very concerned as enclosed was my personal information:
Payrol number
National insurance number
Name/address
Wage slips/employment name and address
Tax credit renewal/children full names and details
I'm very concerned to think what would happen if this information got into the wrong hands,someone could use this fraudulently.
I don't even no if the letter had been posted to a neighbour and they opened it and reposted it,or if the post man opened it or received it in this way

I have just sent a parcel from NZ to England it was a couple of jumpers for my 96 year old father and a babies rug for my Sister new grandson I am deeply upset that my sister got a letter saying its going to cost 69 pounds to have the parcel delivered because of import duties and VAT. I had already paid over $50 in NZ plus insurance to see that the parcel delivered because of this cost I have told my Sister to let them send it back event though my Dad wont get his new Jumpers and my Sisters baby wont get her rug. I am absolutely disgusted I have been in NZ 34 years and sent loads of the same type of mail but the first time this has happened I advise others to take this into consideration please

I needed to talk to a person to sort out a delivery problem but was given the run around with various menues. When will business realize that endless menues do not provide a proper service to people who are paying.

My parcel was sent special on the 14/7/14 at nottingham,the track and trace site indicates that the item was last scanned at nottingham sorting centre and have still not got it.this is the second item and non have been recieved.hope the management of the royal sorting office at nottingham do read these feed backs because this needs the attention of the police.

I have had 2 parcels from 2 different shops not delivered. I called Royal Mail customer services and they said that there was nothing I could do and it was up to the senders to submit a form. Reading the other reviews, it seems that clearly the sorting office in Nottingham has a problem with either theft or incompetence.

I have had to return a parcel to America and that was on the 10th February, 2014. It is now 21st March, 2014 and the parcel hasn't been received in America. I can only assume that because Royal Mail does not make their staff do a CRB check, that they employ criminals and someone has stolen my parcel to the USA.

Ask husband to post birthday card with gift voucher nov 15/16 from his office in Nottingham to Sherwood less than 3 miles!!!!! Had a £30 boots gift voucher in it. First time I've not sent from my southwell post office registered as my children have received many such cards in the post not registered in Southwell, no problem. Well heard from friend today didn't receive it.
Great just proves the inner city can't deliver either to right address or some thief in the post office has benefited. Great. This gives me confidence we the post office it privatised!!!!!

Disgraceful that ALL mail boxes in Nottingham city centre remained closed off today Monday 1 July two days after the Armed Forces day. Although it is absolutely right that these should have been closed off for security reasons during the event, it is NOT acceptable that 36 hours later they are still no-operational. As a pensioner, I had to trail around the city today - not easy at my age - and still could not post my mail. A kind stranger offered to take these and post them on my behalf elsewhere. I do hope they get there but, if not, I would hold Nottingham postal services responsible, rather than the individual. Surely it can't be that hard to get a post man to unlock the boxes?

For the 2nd time in a matter of months the Arboretum area has had its mail suspended again,i pay for my mail to be delivered by buying a stamp, this again is not happening due to a renewed threat of a dog attack, so because of this a blanket ban is put on the whole area i find this totally unsatisfactory, i work with young people of 18-20 years of age who constantly threaten us with violence but we dont stay away because of a percieved threat we accepted that with the job. Also the last time this happened we were never informed of the outcome just left to wonder if Royal Mail were taking the rise.
