Can i just say a special thank you to a staff member called andy, definitely needs a promotion! His service skills are excellent. My mum has a dissability and he made sure she was comfortable and seated right near the door. His service skills were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will definitely be returning.. thanks andy :)

Lovely experience beautiful scenery, wonderful staff especially Sean who served the carvary lovely lovely lovely!
Will definitely visit again and probably forever xxxx

Went to riverside in Nottingham on 21-02-17 we ordered our meal after 25mins it came out different to what we ordered we was then told we had to wait another 15mins for it to come it wouldn't have been so bad only the assistant manager put the order through he new he had done it wrong because when we had finished our meal seeing that we had left some he came over asked if things which was about 20mins later he said that it was his fault he was sorry but why didn't he come over sooner and apologise sooner he also said to come and see him befor we and he would try and sort something out but he just kept disappearing we just waked out at the he also offered us a free piece of cake home put he just kept vanishing not eating there again.

This used to be one of our favourite places, but not anymore. I understand that Sunday is a busy day for them, but the service was atrocious. I was waiting at the bar to be served and my mother in law was standing at a different place to see if there was anyone serving over there. It finally got to me so I called her over so we could order. The guy serving then spent a good 5 mins talking about cutting the line and joking with the guy behind instead of serving me. I had to repeat my table number 4 times as he wasn't listening. While he was finally getting the drinks, we witnessed another staff member try to help serve and another member of staff go off on him for going near the till that he was using. Disgusting behaviour. The gammon from the carvery was cold. When we finished and were waiting for a cakeaway we witnessed a woman staff member walk into a guy and spill his pint over him, only giving a brief 'oops sorry'. We were not the only ones discussing the disgusting service.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Although it was the first time i have visited, me & my friend popped in for a coffee (& shared a slice of the WONDERFUL MARS BAR CAKE!!!!!) it was heavenly. I will be returning soon to sample the carvery as it looked & smelt delicious !
