Express Lettings Nottingham Reviews
I attempted to purchase a property from Express Sales and from the outset I was given incorrect information. The property was of a Non Standard Construction but this was not made clear and I had to find this out after paying the mortgage surveyor £400.
I addition the Lease details were stated as 114 years remaining, then 97 years and finally I made a call myself to the Freeholder who advised me that both figures were incorrect and it was 90 years.
I am very disappointed at losing the property but could not continue with the purchase at the agreed price once this information was highlighted.
All in all the whole situation cost me in excess of £800 with nothing to show for it.
Please do not instruct surveyors or solicitors until you have the correct information or you will be out of pocket.

If I could give a lower than 1 star review I would. Very quick to take my money. Lots of lies and mistakes along the way. Discussed other tenants with me and made comments to indicate my data was seen by people it shouldn't have. When I questioned this they found every excuse possible to not let the property to me. Staff are rude and incompetent. Subsequently leaving me with 6 days to find somewhere suitable for a move that was planned based on their lies! Avoid at all costs.

Slumlord con artists. Nothing but trouble with these ba$*ards from day one. Broken promises and lies. Took them 11 months to paint over mould in bathroom. I have been trying to get them to fix the leaking roof since October, its now February! Eventually had to call environmental health on them, and guess what, now they are trying to evict me instead.
They are very happy to take your money every month, but will do absolutely nothing to maintain the property. They seem to think its acceptable to have a cold damp mouldy house to bring my children up in.
Pure scum. Avoid like the plague.

I would never normally go to the effort of writing a review of a company. However in this situation I desperately hope I can go someway toward preventing potential future customers from quite frankly being scammed by this disgrace that calls itself a letting agent. When we moved into our rented property for £695 pcm I had to amend the entire inventory as it was so inaccurate even down to the walls being painted a different colour!! When we left the property it took them 2 weeks to do a final inspection and we have somehow ended up paying £70 to clear a shed full of items from the previous tenant!! Also a window has miraculously been broken durning that 2 weeks which we have also had to pay for. The property has now been let for £50 pcm less than we paid, despite me being told when I rang up to arrange a viewing that the property had just been reduced, what a coincidence. They're such an arrogant bunch too, not a friendly face in there considering they're making money off you!! Never ever again.
