As I cannot seem to get through on the phone I hope this will reach the right person. Last Wednesday 10th of May my 93yr old mother-in-law had a nasty fall whilst out on her own. Her name is Mrs Riefe. An officer who said he was from Beeston very kindly came out to tell us as she could not remember our phone number only our address. We live in Long Eaton. He asked if we would let him know how she got on. She had a nasty cut on the back of her head which was stitched. This resulted in a bleed on the brain, the doctor referred to it as a mini stroke. Thankfully she is very tough and is now recovering well at home with us. I would like to thank everyone who helped her and thank you to the officer who came to tell us. Unfortunately I did not get his name.
