I went into the new Mac shop in Nottingham last week, all I needed was a foundation. I new which I needed and which colour it was. Upon entering the shop it looked busy, however I then realised it was because there was about 15-20 staff floating around. One lady (the only one who appeared to be doing anything) asked what I was looking for, I told her and after a few minutes she found it and directed me to the till where there was a short que. she did warn us there was a bit of a wait. I waited behind four people for 25 minutes whilst the girl that served us tried to take payment from the people in front of us. Whilst we were waiting, unaware as to why only one out of the three tills was being used, we could see staff messing about, taking selfies, avoiding eye contact with any of the people in the que. I finally got to pay for my foundation and at this point we were pretty hacked off and we were informed that only one till was working - why did it take this long for us to be told why we were waiting? Why is the number of staff out number the customers at a rate of 4:1? Why was there no presence of a manager anywhere in the shop? Just to top it off, upon getting home and using my new foundation the next day I found that it was not the one that I asked for. I do not fault the girl that served us - anyone can make a mistake and she was literally the only person doing anything in the half an hour we were in the shop. However the whole experience was ridiculous and at the end of the day I was sent away with the wrong product - why have you reopened a store when it's clearly not ready? I will definitely not be shopping at Mac again.
