Jack Parmar (author of the other reviews on this site) of nottinghampcrepairs agreed to build a new PC for me. When I got it home I tried to plug in the monitor but the port was broken. It was also covered in a thick layer of hard, baked on dust and the whole component was wobbly. There was another blue monitor port lower down so I plugged it in there. The PC worked fine for about one minute, when the power shut off abruptly. This happened repeatedly, though I was usually able to use it for several minutes before the power loss. I would then have to reconnect to the WiFi every time. I texted Jack and he told mW he would see what the problem was and then contact me the next day. He didn't… I contacted him the day after. This went on and every promise he made to sort it out came to nothing. He must have known all along that this PC was beyond repair. The CD didn't open and after a few days the mouse and keyboard were no longer recognised… the speaker had never been recognised. All I can do now is turn it on and off, though it will turn itself off. He has refused even a partial refund.
