IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY PLEASE READ THIS FIRST AFTER LEAVING THIS AND OTHER REVIEWS PLUS CONTACTING TRADING STANDARDS THIS COMPANY THEN CONTACTED ME TO ASK ME TO REMOVE MY REVIEWS AND IN RETURN THEY WOULD SEND ME THE CORRECT 100AH BATTERIES "SOUNDS A BIT LIKE BLACKMAIL" ANYWAY I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE THE BATTERIES DELIVERED AT 8.00AM SUNDAY MORNING. I SET MY ALARM AND WAS UP AND READY, 9.00AM "ONLY AN HOUR LATE!" A MAN TURNS UP WITH A SET OF BATTERIES, I HAD A FRIEND REMOVE THE INCORRECT BATTERIES AS I WAS TOLD THAT THE DELIVERY MAN WOULD NOT SWAP THEM OVER. THE MAN LOOKED AT THE BATTERIES AND SAID THESE ARE NOT OUR BATTERIES. I TOLD HIM THAT THESE ARE THE ONE'S THAT WERE ON THE SCOOTER WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED TO WHICH HE SAID OUR BATTERIES ARE BLACK AND NOT MADE BY MK. HE REFUSED TO TAKE THEM AND TO LEAVE THE BATTERIES HE HAD BROUGHT WITH HIM! HE BASICALLY CALLED ME A LIAR! SPEAKING OF LIARS, YOU SAY I ORDERED THE SCOOTER WITH 75AH BATTERIES ON. NO I ASKED FOR THE 100AMP AS ADVERTISED! I WILL BE CONTACTING TRADING STANDARDS AGAIN! AND NO I WILL NOT BE REMOVING ANY OF MY REVIEWS. THE PUBLIC DESERVE TO KNOW WHAT SORT OF COMPANY THEY ARE DEALING WITH. I purchased a new Drive king cobra 8 mobility scooter from this place, what a mistake! The description of the scooter showed that 2 x 12v 100ah batteries available which is what I wanted. I placed the order over the phone and specifically asked the Lady who was taking my order that the scooter would come with 100ah batteries to which she replied yes it will. Upon receiving the scooter I checked that it came with the correct size batteries, "NO" there were 75ah batteries fitted which did not even look new. I have made several phone calls only to be told that they only supply the scooter with 75ah batteries and that 100ah batteries was an optional extra. I asked as to why this was not shown in the description only to be told that them showing 100ah batteries available ment that I should have known that it would be an optional extra even though I had asked for the 100ah. After several more phone calls, to which most would not be answered until I hid my phone number I was told that they could supply me with the correct size batteries but I would have to pay for them! After some more arguing I was told that if I paid £200 they would send me the correct batteries, that I would have to change myself and then send the incorrect ones back, once they had received them they would refund my £200. Being disabled is the reason for me buying the scooter and I certainly would not be able to change the batteries and arrange for the incorrect ones to be sent back. I have checked on the Drive Medical website who supply the scooter and it states that the recommended batteries should be 96ah gell batteries. This company has taken advantage of a disabled person, they have falsely advertised a mobility scooter leading me and no doubt others that this scooter will come with 100ah batteries. There is nothing in the description that says supplied with 75ah batteries or upgrade to 100ah for extra money! If you have been unfortunate enough to have purchased a mobility scooter from this company I would check to see what batteries have been fitted. My next step is to contact Trading standards.
