Seemed very pleasant at first. I went in because I could no longer open my car door. They dismantled it and told me I needed a whole new fitting from Ford - with labour would cost me £89. I thought about it and called up to book in, confirming it would be £89. So I dropped my car off and got a call 10 minutes later to say actually it would be £109. Apparently they had only 'estimated' the cost before. WHY?? When I asked how much the part was and how much the labour was they asked me why I needed to know that and after much persuasion told me the part was £49, so they wanted to charge me £60 for what they had previously said was an hours labour. Nice work if you can get it. Funnily enough, when I said no, they said Ok, they would do it for £89. I took it to a scrap yard and bought the part for £20. Went to get it fitted and was told it was the wrong part. All I needed was the door handle! So the part cost me £10 and I got it fitted for £20. Half an hours work, most of which was caused by the mess Mr Tyre had left my car in when they originally dismantled the door. SHOCKING!
