I'm from Halifax, Canada & back in 1981 I stayed here during the week of the Royal Wedding (Princess Diana/Prince Charles). This hotel holds wonderful memories for me, as well as The Bentinck Pub next door. The employees at the Gresham were very welcoming and hospitable...made me feel as though Nottingham was my second "home" away from home. It was an economical & friendly place to stay.....even had a piano in the bar where Michael & I shared some great music. It's an "old world" atmosphere filled with friendly folk!
