I have no Idea what this Pub is like now, but 35 to 45 years ago this was one of the pubs to go, and be seen at. We locals knew it as "Top House", in fact I don't think many people even knew it's proper name. My Grandad used to drink there from 1918 to 1961. Glad its still around, I was born not far away at Downing Street, and my Grand Parents lived at Back Cottages
