I have been using Nottingham station for many years. The changes to the location of the taxi stand are really disastrous. About ten days ago, not only did my train arrive about an hour late from London but I then had to struggle with my luggage from platform seven upto the lift (no trolleys available as far as I could see) then across the top of the station and finally pull my suitcases up and down the lumps and bumps of the pavement all the way down the side of the station to the taxi rank. In the past one simply came up to the main entrance of the station and the taxis were waiting inside. It was bad enough for someone fit and healthy. For anyone not particularly strong, for older people etc it would be a nightmare. And there is never anyone around to help. I hope that this location is temporary and that the taxi stand will be moved back to the front of the station as soon as possible. The current situation is not customer-oriented in the slightest.
