Answer to Mrs Wood. Point one. You did not pay £2000 for your sofa. You paid less than £1600 for a sofa and footstool Point two. When you lived in Sleaford you were outside our delivery area and paid for the delivery (included in the above) Point three. The photographs that you have sent show that a bottom support rail has split behind the joint. This indicates that the rail has been hit with a large blow to split a hard wood rail. Point three . You have moved to Kent. It is possible that the damage was caused when you moved the sofa to your new home. Point Four We have now offered to fully repair your sofa four times. However despite the sofa being broken whilst in your possession this is not good enough and you want us to take the cost of returning the sofa to us. We think your demands are totally unfair and unwarranted. You seem to think that slagging off companies will achieve your aims. We now are in the company of John Lewis, Plusnet, and others that also appear to have rejected your unrealistic demands. We will leave our thousands ( probably in excess of 100,000) of customers to assess the fairness of your compliant and review.
