The 30th birthday which was held in the back meeting room went really well. The room was large and the staff behind the bar worked hard and were friendly. Every thing had ran smoothly and it was even commented about how tidy we had left the room at the end of the evening. Getting the security bond back however was a different thing. I went to collect the bond and was told by a lady who happened to be in the club at the time and was one of the treasurers that £20 was being witheld due to a broken paper towel dispeser in the toilets which had been jammed. This had to be taken apart to be fixed. Thinking about this there were other people ie club members using the toilets and it could have been one of them that did it?? We all know sometimes its difficult to get tissue out of dispensers sometimes as the paper does get jammed. This incident has spoilt the whole occasion as i don't think the £20 should have been witheld as this could be deemed as an accident not willful damage.
