My family and I could be regular customers here as it is right on our our daughter's doorstep. Our two car's full of adults and kids wanted something to eat before catching the tram to Nottinngham from Toton Lane, we were turned away from an empty hugely expensive premises to light, heat and staff. Rather stupidly this place is turning away thousands of potential customers per year using the tram. The reason being they do not accept payment by card. OK It does have a cash machine but who these days pays to withdraw their cash to spend over the bar, it also gives the impression "cash only" is synonymous with a pub business about to fold, unable to get it's supplies on account.
