No words seem to sufficiently describe my experience with Bee Living - all I can say is to avoid this letting agent like the plague.
On moving in to my Bee Living property for my second year of university, I arrived to find my garden a building site. We were promised a conservatory would be built over the summer yet when I arrived there was only a concrete floor in the garden ... I spent the next SIX MONTHS sharing my home with builders.
My list of issues is as long as my arm ... Three of my flatmates didn't even have a bed to sleep on.
We had broken appliances, crumbling walls, windows with holes in them, rubbish and debris left in the cellar, mould, broken doors, no keys to lock the backdoor. None of which were ever fixed, despite asking time and time again.
Even when our fire alarm broke and was continually going off - we were left for 48 hours with the continual noise until they came to fix it. We were also faced with debt collectors hammering down our door after they had registered their business address as our home address - hardly ideal when studying for exams.
Then, to add insult to injury, once I left the property (and thought I was rid of them) they deducted money from my deposit without explanation or any sort of evidence.
They manipulated the time frames so I could not raise a dispute and left me feeling robbed. All in all, they are an awful company who are rude and have no sense of responsibility - once they have your money that is all they care about.
No student should use this company and have to go through what I went through.
