Went in to enquire about a simple upholstery job. Was told it wasn't 'cost effective' even though I didn't get as far as being quoted a price! When I asked if the lady could suggest anywhere else she suggested 'another upholsterer'. The tone was dismissive- perhaps only interested in big jobs.
Very disappointed with the customer service, unfortunately I never sampled the craftmanship to comment further. What a shame those with small problems are turned down. It would have been much more customer friendly to ask to look at the cushion that needed fixing, then quote a price before deciding it wasn't 'cost effective'. Tried to support a local business.
