I worked for Geo Akins who opened and owned the site back in the very early 80's. We fitted that arcade out and rumour at the time said it paid for itself in a month, the place used to be rammed. Funny how folks tastes change, of course a Sainsbury's now

This place defined my childhood. Shame it's a Sainsbury's Local now, but I guess Gorf and Gauntlet aren't the draws they once were.
