They lost the Court Case!! So proud of the Nottingham Court for coming to our defence against this company. My uncle trusted them to manage a property, but they mis-handled the tenant deposit. At the end of the Tenancy they said everything would be all right, but then claimed it was my uncles liability and not theirs! He took them to court and the Judge ruled in his favour, stating that they were obliged to file all relevant paperwork, as entrusted by a landlord in a contract. Very happy.
Katie Homes were originally a small firm and a jewel in Nottingham, very friendly and capable. But over the years it its being run as a business investment - just out to make money. All the good staff left and, as this case shows, they have no interest in performing a professional service.

Since under new management the customer service is second to none.
We rent a garage in the park, before with the old management we had a nightmare trying to get repairs done, even to get replies to our questions. It was always "I will find out and get back to you" guess what? They never did! Couldn't even find our contract, we were looking round for other premises.
After dealing with the staff now, we realise there is a major turnaround, so ignore the negative feedback that Katie Homes have previously had.

Would not recommend. Often quite rude, unhelpful and disorganised if you have problems with your rented property. Incapable staff. You can find better agencies in Nottingham.

This agent rented a property near Notts city centre to a friend. The place was okay but it wasn't as clean as it should have been and the decor needed some attention. The rental and deposit were very high but my friend needed to be near work. We warned my friend to take photos of the property at the start in case there were any disputes with the agent. Unfortunately he didn't and the agent complained that some of the floors had dirt. She claimed the place was spotless when he took it on. This was eventually sorted out but caused alot of stress on top of the hassle of moving. If you rent one of their places, please make sure you take photos on arrival and leaving to put a stop to this sort of dispute.
