The product itself is fine. However I had a number of unfortunate experiences when dealing with this company, leading to the 2 star rating.

Firstly, my wife ordered the product before 11am the day before my birthday, and paid the £5 to 'guarantee' next day delivery. However, imagine our dismay when I received a call from Sumeet (owner of the company), at 6pm saying that due to several power cuts that day, the oven would not now be delivered until after the weekend. I checked the company's address again and yes it was indeed Nottingham, UK, and not New Delhi, hence the suggestion that there had been power cuts that prevented the product being shipped that day seemed strange. Why would you need power to stick a small tandoori oven onto a truck anyway?? Hmmm
I then asked Sumeet about the discount and he dismissed this saying it was 'beyond his jurisdiction' (I didn't know at that time that he is the owner of the company).
He promised to refund the next day delivery charge 'within days'.
The product arrived, well packaged, after the weekend and 3 days after my birthday.
A month later we received our credit card bill. The 10pc discount which had been advertised for months on the website had not been applied, and I still had not received a refund for 'guaranteed next day delivery'.
I spoke to the aforementioned Sumeet again, and he promised to refund the £5 after the weekend but refused to honour the ten percent discount as 'the discount code changes every week and the site may not have had the discount when I bought the product'. Again, the site has had the ten percent discount for many many months, and the code has almost certainly been the same(ny1518). Only this week has the discount changed to 5per cent). I referred to another customer review on the company website who had a similar problem with the discount and this had been retrospectively offered to the customer, so clearly it is not only me that had the issue.

I had to chase the company up for my £5 refund, but they have refused the ten percent discount that was offered for any orders over £270. (My order came to considerably more than this).

In terms of the product, The skewer stoppers become very hot and almost impossible to remove and clean. The detachable side tables are pretty useless too.

However the skewers and the oven itself are of good quality and the food tastes as good as I've eaten, but the company should have exercised a bit of common sense and goodwill and given me the ten percent discount, as advertised. 02-07-14
