Pentagon Vauxhall Nottingham Reviews

I told the staff that they hadn't fixed any of the faults on my car and that they are incompetent ! , they said as a good will gesture they will fix my car if I bring it back in, I have warranty its not a good will gesture its about doing the job correctly.. on paying my excess to get my car repaired again I got inn my car and they had broken my heated seats and bits were hanging out under my seats, the springs in my seats had also been smashed to bits and sticking out,, my steering wheel wouldnt turn correctly and is making a noise like its going to snap at any time, they have done something to the dashboard and now when I drive over any little bump in the road the dashboard makes the most horrendouse noise , basically driving it is a constant noise and also the radio station skips when I drive over any bumps.. at night I was getting flashed by other drivers and when I pulled over I realised I had no back lights !! when I got home and checked them I came to realise they had taken all the bulbs out for some for some reason!! I have taken the car to many other garages and they wont touch it saying its the place I got the car from tthat needs to sort out the dashboard as they havnt fitted it correctly and it has the potential to come out and cause damage to me and my family. the car I bought from pentagon drove like a dream until I took it back for a simple repair which was covered on my warranty the day it came out from its repair is the day my car turned into a nightmare with the company damaging it ., lots of the little things they damage are not covered by my warranty and the workers know this and laughed and made comments about it when I got in my car to drive it away.

don't buy warranty and don't buy a car from pentagon,, expecialy don't buy a car from a salesman called dan because he is a rip off who takes your money then passes you keys to a car that they havnt serviced as promised.

This company left me with brakes hanging off I took it down 3 times and they keep my car a few days then give it me back with the repair not done and I get charged 50 pounds everytime towards my warranty exess, also when I got in my car its like they are sabataging my car even more as it feels like its going to topple over going round corners i have nearly had an accident because of this .i took it in for my brakes and now the heated seats wont work and the seats are now springy, also my speed dials are realy arratic. The fans now only blow air out occasionaly and when they do work lots of dust comes out with it. The electric windows wont work. I have called the warranty and got the car back in for all the problems I paid another 50 pound exess I got in my car and this company hadnt fixed anything so I went straight back in and they said they cant find any problems (no problems but took 50pounds again!!!!) I reported this to the warranty company and they agree with pentagon that nothings wrong with the car. Its now autumn I cant have fans on and my windows wont go down agghhhhh alltogether including the parts cost, warranty exess and how much it cost for my extended warranty years iam down £1450 not to mention all the time off work. And my car is still not fixed. I wouldnt give the one star so please people stay away its not worth the stress and anxiety by envolving yourself with this company.

hi folk's its me again with the update on the vectra handbrake fault.
i was astonished last week when i got a phone call from mike at vauxhall at luton,.he stated that they were not prepared to accept any liability because the vehicle had not been left in gear when parked up( so be carefull folks if you buy a vauxhall because the hanbrake on its own is not sufficient enough! ) . as i stated i am the type of guy who prefers to do things in a comprimised way, however i now intend to go to as many motoring magazines as possible and hopefully get the bbc watchdog programme involved. . it goes without saying i cannott recomend vauxhall for their customer p. r.

its early days yet folk's but watch this space! i was subject to a recall on my vectra last year like many others regards to a handbrake fault. i took the vehicle into pentagon at daybrook, but what mystified me was that as i left the vehicle round the back i walked to the front of the building and as i was about to enter the showroom when someone shouted my name and said the vehicle is ready. at a rough guess it was probably between 45 seconds and a minute and half. i was further staggered to receive a sticker from vauxhall to display on my sunvisor warning to leave the vehicle in gear at all times(this seemed to me like warning you it could happen again). 4 weeks ago low and behold yep you've guessed it , my vehicle was parked on a hill and it was the worst feeling in my whole life to turn round and see my vehicle rolling down the hill backwards. it was school time with children in close vicinity , my heart fell out as i tried to chase the car and warn oncoming traffic about what was happening. still to this day i feel sick when i think what would have happened if a couple of kids had been walking by. the car suffered rear damage obviously and it completely demolished a house wall. i have contacted vauxhall at luton and told them all about it . in fairness i am waiting with baited breath because the guy i have spoken to so far (mike) has been very understanding. he told me to send in all the relevant documentation and i sincerely hope that we are going to be able to come to a ammicable agreement regards the cost of the damage.. i much prefer to do it this way than have to revert to other methods of persausion i will keep you posted on the outcome.

I had a warranty issue withy my rear lights, which upon delivery of my vehicle, had condensation in them. I was advise to take the car to any local Vauxhall dealer and they would sort it out. To be on the safe side I made an appointment to bring the car in so I wasn’t just turning up out the blue. When making the appointment I gave the reg number and car make and was told that you would need to look at the problem confirm what need to be done.

On arriving, I again gave the reg Number and Model to the Receptionist who asked whether I was going to wait around for them to check. As I had booked the car in and was told that it wouldn’t take too long, I waited.

After 1 hour I went back to reception and asked for my key back as I wasn’t waiting any more. At this point I was informed in a very unapologetic manor that they are not qualified to work on the Ampera. This was the first time this had been mentioned. If I had known this when making my original booking I would not have bothered wasting my time sitting in their reception.

On the whole a lot of my time was wasted and the level of service provided is very poor. Over an hour to check 2 lights and report back that they can’t do anything is Pathetic. I'm surprisee they are still in Business

Please note i wouldn't even give this a 1 star but the system would not go any less! 3 engineers 3 hours to fit a headlight bulb in a zafira - sounds a joke - but true. When i asked why it was taking so long - an extremely rude engineer told me to do it myself! This was overhead by the Receptionist. Obviously complained to the management and basically after complaining to the head office also - managers response was that i must have "misinterpreted" what was said. All of the staff lied about the situation. Would I take my car there again - NO NO NO. I would deter anyone from using this dealership. Whilst waiting for my car I heard a conversation between the engineer with the service receptionist basically ripping off the customer for works apparently necessary. Even the receptionist questioned the engineer - only to be told that they would claim it back under the warranty! Totally rude, incompetent and liers. As for the complaints handling policy - well thats just a total waste of time!

I went for a handbrake recall (Vectra). They tried to charge me 1800quid for things they said need 'fixing'. Including a front to rear brake pipe 'that was a hard job and needed the entire engine removed hence £580'.
car was due an MOT and fair to say most of what they said needed doing, execpt 'front to rear brake pipe cost £100 (including labour), and the rest cost £200.
Bit of a difference i reckon >?
I like my vauxhall car, but will not buy another, and this place should be on TV for cowboy rip offs.
DONT GO HERE!
