Morleys Nottingham Reviews

I don't kow how they stay in business - only with a captive audience.
I have order basic school fleeces for local school and it takes MONTHS to arrive, then ot whole order comes in, then some are faulty and have to be re-ordered. The staff keep changing - working there must be as frustrating as shopping there! Dreadful ordering and stock systems - and why do they not stick to more reliable suppliers, instead of swopping all the time, even the sizes keep changing!

I absolutely agree with previous reviews. Its comforting to know I'm not on my own. I have had the same poor experience with customer service and with processing my order. The company take your money, when you order online, and tell you there are two left. Then they leave you for three weeks without an item and without a delivery date. You cannot get through to the store, they literally don't answer the phone. I am unable to visit the shop due to work and am left with trying to call. I'm on my 66th attempt! Absolutely dreadful service and poor customer care. I agree, Fernwood need to source their school uniform elsewhere. Thank goodness only one more year to go1

Very disappointed with the service provided by Morleys
I placed an order for a blazer and received a text stating the order had arrived. I went to collect the order only to be told that when orders arrive an automated text is sent to all customers requiring the same item but on this occasion my item had not arrived, so wasted journey. I've try phoning the shop only to hear a pre-recording asking me to leave my details and I will be called back. It's now 17:50hrs and no call has been received. My son now has to attend his first day at school without a key piece of uniform.
Having dealt the Morleys for a number of years and listened to the complaining parents who stand waiting for orders which never arrive on time, I'm surprised they're still in business. The school terms are the same every year and it's always the same circus every time. The poor staff stand looking red faced and embarrassed to have to keep apologising to customers, I can't knock their hard work. Management need to pull their finger out and sort it.

Ordered at Fernwood school with Morleys on the 5th July being advised they would call me in a few days. This call never materialised, finally managed to get through to the shop after at least 50 calls and was advised we have the order that was placed at the school but for some reason I wasn't contacted and the order wasn't placed with the supplier. Order was now placed again they would contact when in stock. I had not heard anything by the 15th August again started the calls to the shop, left messages etc with no return calls. Finally went in to the shop sat 27th and was told my order had arrived 2 days earlier I had received no notification of this and there were items missing. I explained the scenario of lack of communications, no one answering calls (advised by the staff member that they don't answer the calls), they really didn't care. I was promised by this same member of staff she would ring me the Tuesday after the bank holiday with an update on the outstanding items from the original order on the 5th July. Again no call. I will also add the blazer I picked up from the shop was creased excessively and was obviously taken out of the box that the goods were delivered in days earlier when I collected. This shop doesn't deserve any stars, poor staff, poor service and poor quality. Fernwood need to open up who stocks their uniform because your child should not need to be worried whether they will have a uniform for the start of term.

Probably the worst shop I've ever dealt with. The staff don't seem to care about customers at all, they are aloof, demotivated, unknowledgeable and rude. The simplest query or purchase takes several minutes to sort out and they never contact you when your items arrive. Local schools should really look at a different supplier, this shop is unusable.

Stocking poor, staff dismissive if you're purchasing uniform for a state school, long wait if you have to order the correct size because they don't have the one you want in stock. Unfortunately I don't have a choice of stockist for school blazers, Morley's, rest assured that I don't buy anything from you unless I have no other option.

I have shopped at this shop for 7 years now and I am really not impressed with the current management.Stock is limited, in fact they had no stock for my children's school. Lady was rude and abrupt. I have spoken to other parents and even in July they did not have the stock for the school.I won't be surprised if they end up closing down.

Morleys School Uniform Specialists are useless, i went to buy my 2 sons school uniforms 4 weeks ago. half of what i needed wasnt in stock so Morley said they would order them. well its 1st day back at school and still not arrived...... why is there only one shop in the entire country i buy uniforms with logos on. this shop is obviously are useless at it and school uniforms should be available with logos from other shops. so i have had to buy a jumper 2 sizes bigger and its way too big for him. and both have to go without PE shirts. it always chaos in the shop and all way over priced. think another shop should be given the contract.
