Just happened to walk down Canning Circus and saw the agents there. Popped into the office to be met by two great ladies who really helped me through the whole process. I have lived in my accomodation now for over 6 months and nothing has been too much trouble. No niggles when I pay my rent late - dont mean to but im only human! And nothing but politeness from all of the team. Would defo recommend ...

Disrespectful people walk in your flat when you are in bed, more than once. We've had broken washing machines that they do not want to repair. They think you should pay rent but treat it like it's there's, walking in as they please. I can't wait to my tennancy is over. Should of listened to all the comments on here, wish I did. Live and learn I guess, worse place ever.

I start my 3rd year in September at Nottingham Trent. I was cautious to use BeeLiving however they have been fantastic! My initial viewing was with a lady called Lucy she was very down to earth and straight to the point. In the office Courtney dealt with all my paperwork and payments required, it was a smooth and efficient signing process. Im really looking forward to moving into my own studio :)

Great service really lovely team don't understand why they have so many bad reviews. Recently under new management in the last year so I guess that's why. Stayed in a six bed house they couldn't do enough to accommodate us.

Its well documented that Bee Living are not Letting Agents. They rent properties they own and front themselves up as agents.
We have just won our case with My Deposits to have the full £1750.00 deposit returned to us. They tried to withold £1045.00 based on ficticious claims of repair and replacement. They were unable to provide any evidence of works they had claimed for so their claims were dismissd.
Please be aware that they see deposits as an income stream and I believe will always try to withold some or all without genuine reason. I believe that they operate on a conversion rate...some tenants wont bother to argue and some like us will. They have nothing to lose and all to gain with this policy, so beware when dealing with them.
Get detailed info when you move in, photograph everything, from each room to the inside of the oven!
The best thing to do is to...NOT USE THEM!
Fortunately I am a property manager of 25 years experience so I knew from the start what there M.O. was.

BEWARE - Students & Parents - BEWARE !!!!
VERY Poor company and service - they deserve less than 1 Star
Rude owner & Bad experience here. They will keep as much of your deposit as possible. They made up "reasons" to keep deposit money. After several letters back and forth and months of trying ... I give up.
But BEWARE they make a living like this. Charged extra per person on a daily basis to have the bins emptied - charged extra for the original deposit to be secured (which they mist do by law).
They won't be cheap in the long run - Be Warned ... BEWARE

Got to say really surprised after reading some of the bad reviews on here. I found the staff at the office friendly and helpful and when I locked myself out they couldn't do enough to help me. Would deffo recommend as the flat I was in was spotless and had everything i needed.

Worst letting agent I have ever come across! Total COWBOYS! Made up lies about my son and his friends. The place was full of mould not fit for a DOG. Took £1000 deposit to decorate a room when the accommodation needs CONDEMNING.. Made up stories of lost keys and new locks that did not excist. Now in the possession of my solicitor! students do not have money to throw away. The rent was greedy and their greediness means that they now want to keep their deposit as well. I will not let them get away with this even even I take them to court. They will not be allowed to pray on any more victims. They obviously think they are above the law but I think soon they will be having a rude awakening. It's COWBOYS like this that's gives decent people a bad name, people with morals and decency . Be it on your own head if you rent from these unscrupulous people. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Worst I've ever dealt with (and I'm a Property Manager.)
My Son had a student house share in Nottingham.
Two & half months and still awiting my Son's deposit to be returned.
No credible reason why not repaid...some appaling excuses though. Excuses up there with "The dog ate my homework Sir."
Terrible customer Service...Patronising, condescending attitude.
I strongly suspect (presently trying to prove) deposits are not protected as they probably hold them themselves which gives Bee Living the opportunity to earn interest on all the deposits they hold. The only three recognised deposit holding scheme entities are: The DPS, TDS or "My Deposits" Guess what? None of them have heard of "Bee Living."
Avoid this shabby outfit at all costs.

As a parent of a 3rd year student I would say avoid Bee Living. The owner is rude and arrogant. The day I helped move my son in was terrible. The boiler didn't work, no heating or hot water. Oven didn't work; dirty house; lack of furniture, no curtains,some locks on doors were missing, no instructions for anything. Lack of inventory. Dirty everywhere. Mouldy shower curtain. Dirty bedding and clothes left from previous students. The house hadn't been touched since last students left. Broken window, garden overgrown, rubbish bins full, dirty fridge with shelves missing, the list could go on and on. We made a note of the issues and went straight back to the Bee Living office. The owner of the company spoke to us. He was a rude, unhelpful, condesending man and it was probably the most upsetting confrontation I have ever had. All of the issues took months to resolve and some probably never were sorted out. The students are still waiting for their deposits a year later. Don't be fooled by new name or new workers and empty promises.

I've just had the best experience with a landlord I have ever had today. From September 2015, I will be moving in to one of BeeLiving's Student properties as a third year student. When viewing the house for a third time today, I could really feel the love and time that my landlord wants to put in to make my future student house a pleasant and enjoyable place to live. Whilst many landlords are very strict and stiff in their views in how they want the property to be, my landlord was so freely open to suggestions. I have to say there is a level of trust that comes in a tenant-landlord relationship and I feel this company has been badly damaged through a lack of this connection.
BeeLiving have held up a really strong connection with myself and my housemates, they have been incredibly quick to respond to our inquiries and they are so incredibly friendly and helpful. I am super excited that they will oversee my final year in a student house.

If I could give -5 starts, believe me I would.
Upon arrival our accommodation (we are a flat of 5) was in an unacceptable condition. There was a substantial amount of furniture missing, a 10 year out of date fire extinguisher, mould in the shower and a hole the size of a human head in one of the bed room windows just to name a few issues.
Since moving in, the issues continued. Any maintenance requests we submitted were either ignored or took ridiculous amounts of time to fix, no matter how serious.
If you enjoy having to hassle your landlord constantly, living in unfit conditions, practically begging for basic issues to be fixed and generally being ripped off, then this is the accommodation for you!

It is now time for students to be looking for new accommodation for the 2015/2016 academic year. I would like to recommend, through personal experience, that NOBODY rents with Bee Living.
From the offset, the company has been rude, irresponsible of its own mistakes and wrongdoings and has not conformed to its own contract.
A lot of stress, scare tactics and bad manners has been used by the landlord and his staff towards myself and other tenants that I am aware of, which is extremely unprofessional.
If you want to get a good degree and have the ability to focus on your studies with little distraction, then please take the advice to seek accommodation elsewhere, as this company is far from professional.
Anybody who lives in a Bee Living property will tell you how bad their experience has been from start to finish, including myself.
The fact that Bee Living has changed their name does not depict their changing attitudes and professionalism. The company is still operated by the same individual, Idan, and is still shoddy.
The staff change on a regular basis, a factor which speaks for itself. Staff are either not being paid, getting stressed or finally see the light at the end of the tunnel at how awful this company really is.

I can't give less than one star but they dont deserve even one ! The owner is rude and at the same time he thinks he own the world ! No maintanence on time you will have to wait at least a week if your window is broken becouse that's not urgent ! Also if you lose your key in friday evening ... You will have to go to hotel till monday when the office is open to pay 25£ for new key ! Just horrible company no proper managment , no proper workers , and he don't even pay everything to his employees!!!

I live in Russell Gallery in Beeliving student accommodation, it is a great property to live. More then 30 students are living and there is great bonding in all students in this place and somehow there is some maintenance issues but it is resolving time to time withe new maintenance team and we cannot avoid that in more than 30 room property there should be some maintenance issues always.
So I am satisfied with the services of Beeliving.

I appreciate the properties of Beeliving that is getting better day by day, before there was lots of issues but now it is resolving under new management and new quick response maintenance team.
I prefer to recommend my friends, affordable rent and flexible rent installments schedule provided with lots of offers for existing and new tenants.

Type in appalling awful student letting in your browser and bee living comes up top of the list but that is still putting it mild.They have broken down out dated rat infested properties.The land lord is both rude and ruthless.Words cannot describe this man and his properties.He is an awful landlord with awful properties .Probably The biggest mistake I will ever make

Very poor landlords. House was in a poor state, maybe not Beelivings fault but they could have done much more to make repairs/improvements. Collectively over £600 was taken from our deposits for the house when it was left in the same state as when we moved in, if not better. Amateurish organisation, avoid at all costs.

Probably the worst decision I have made. Never let with this company. Very poor customer satisfaction and retention. Very rude on the phone. Not very apologetic. Once your money has been taken, you're not getting it back. House was in an absolute state when I moved in after being told it was 'spotless'. Rubbish everywhere. A lot of damages that took weeks to fix. Shabby workmanship outside. Simple jobs take weeks to do no matter how long you ask for them to be done ie) washing machine hasn't worked for the last three days being as nobody can be bothered to come and empty the coin collection tray. Did I mention the office is five mins up the road? And did I also mention that we were never told it costs £2 to wash anyway? Absolutely atrocious. The worst experience for first time letting one can probably ever experience. I would not recommend. Not impressed at all. Have previously tried to leave contract before moving in to avoid these problems. However it appears as once you've signed, it's too late! But surely the same applies to them. So I recommend that everybody with a contract or anybody thinking about having one, make sure beeliving live up to being 'the best secret in town'.

I don't usually write reviews, but I want to avoid the possibility that someone else will sign up for this company. Please take note of the other reviews - I only wish I had seen them before I entered in to a contract with this company. Maintenance issues went unresolved for a long time. I even had one occasion where I received two red letters indicating that I had used more than my allowance on utility bills. When this was challenged, it was dropped and I never heard anything more about it. It took a long while to get my deposit returned and money was deducted without any justification. This is an awful company who provide terrible customer service and in my experience try to rip off their customers at every turn. Please avoid! I would give 0 stars if that was possible and even that would seem to be too generous. Just shocking quality.

Steer clear, having an absolute night mare with this outfit at the moment.
Very close to going legal on them, can't say too much at the moment as case is ongoing, but please read all of the posts below , to get a flavor of how appallingly bad this company is.
Please, please,please, do not let your children at Uni anywhere near these people.

No words seem to sufficiently describe my experience with Bee Living - all I can say is to avoid this letting agent like the plague.
On moving in to my Bee Living property for my second year of university, I arrived to find my garden a building site. We were promised a conservatory would be built over the summer yet when I arrived there was only a concrete floor in the garden ... I spent the next SIX MONTHS sharing my home with builders.
My list of issues is as long as my arm ... Three of my flatmates didn't even have a bed to sleep on.
We had broken appliances, crumbling walls, windows with holes in them, rubbish and debris left in the cellar, mould, broken doors, no keys to lock the backdoor. None of which were ever fixed, despite asking time and time again.
Even when our fire alarm broke and was continually going off - we were left for 48 hours with the continual noise until they came to fix it. We were also faced with debt collectors hammering down our door after they had registered their business address as our home address - hardly ideal when studying for exams.
Then, to add insult to injury, once I left the property (and thought I was rid of them) they deducted money from my deposit without explanation or any sort of evidence.
They manipulated the time frames so I could not raise a dispute and left me feeling robbed. All in all, they are an awful company who are rude and have no sense of responsibility - once they have your money that is all they care about.
No student should use this company and have to go through what I went through.

My daughter is student in Nottingham. She and 6 others used this company to rent a house during her second year. My vocabulary is limited - can't find better words than absolutely appalling. If you are in similar circumstances student or parent avoid this company at all costs. To add insult to injury when the tenancy was finally over they had the cheek to deduct fees from her deposit (with no justification). They manipulated the deposit return timescales so that the opportunity to raise a formal dispute had expired. If you do use them - chase that deposit refund as soon as it is due.

This letting agency is a joke I have had nothing but problems, from leaving the property last august 16th I have STILL not recieved my deposit back from beeliving and I am now having to take them to small claims to get it back. I would give them zero star rating but unfortunately I cant...

Bee Living are the worst company i have encountered in my entire life. they are an embarrassment to Nottingham as they are probably the first company that students encounter when moving to Nottingham. you will have nothing but stress with Bee Living from the moment you move in (they play nice when giving viewings) I couldn't even begin to list off all of the problems that my friends and I encountered with Bee Living in our 2012-2013 term at uni. our flat was burgled over 5 times and they still showed no intention to fix the front door of our flat. none of the appliances work in their properties and i never even had a TV point fitted in my room after going in to their office week after week asking politely for it to be done. They are money grabbers who violate every contract that is signed with them, i advise that all student stay well clear, there are so many properties available in Nottingham of a much higher quality and for a cheaper price! just look around. don't fall for their trap! i wish i had read some reviews before signing in.

Please do not use these people - If I could give less than one star I would.
This company is the worst I have ever come across. Not only do they steal your money and deduct for over consumption of utility bills, large admin fee - they leave you in a property with an expired gas safety certificate and do not fix faults even when reported. I had asked for back up for all the deductions but surprise surprise they do not answer calls and will not return an messages or reply to emails. They are rude on the phone and refuse to deal with any issues.
These people rob you and if you can spread the word in Nottingham to all students do otherwise they will make you student life hell!

Once he has your money, you're not getting it back. I am now in a legal battle trying to get my deposit back.- not what you need when you are at university. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Unfortunately, had a terrible time living with Bee Living. Where to begin.......
Flat mate didn't have a bed frame when we moved in. Had to live off the floor for two months until she got one.
Constant faults with accommodation (these were no fault of ours) Broken showers, chairs, sinks etc.
Were left without hot water for over a week!
The electronic fob front door to the building complex broke meaning we couldn't gain access to our own home. Reported it, to then be told, they would get round to it the following day. Not sure where they expected us to sleep that night!!!!
To top this all off we were then charged a huge amount of money from our deposits at the end of tenancy (for all items that were originally broken when we moved in and recorded on the inventory or were damaged from the builders they employed while we stayed there).
After numerous attempts to contact them stating why I thought the charges were unfair, they decided to never reply. Honestly feel like I've been stolen from.
Overall VERY expensive company for what you receive and a terrible customer service! Honestly, I really do advise you to never live with them.
